We are watching this mission and all others around the world on the World Journey of Smiles site. How interesting and such wonderful stories of those patients you have treated. What a wonderful thing all you volunteers are doing.
Tell Tonya Church (a recovery nurse) hello from Colorado and from Adam and Erin who are very anxious to see her.
Someone asked how many operating rooms do have in Mae Sot?
If Mae means Mom, what does Sot mean?
Hello everyone, I am here and pictures are coming soon. What a nice surprise to hear from you.
Mae also means important, big, key things.
Sot means to put something under or through. Like sliding something in. It also means to interrupt.
Combined together as in MaeSot means the area of Sot is big, crowded, lots of people.
We started with 2 operating rooms on Monday, 3 on Tuesday and today we are up to 5 fully staffed and functioning operating rooms.
Thank you to everyone who is following the World Journey of Smiles and supporting Operation Smile. The volunteers in MaeSot Thailand appreciate you and your thoughts.
